About National Bingo NightNational Bingo Night is a new seat gripping, interactive, luck-based television game show brought to the American public by ABC. Each episode consists of three rounds of play in front of a studio audience who are also competing. Each round, Red, White and Blue, involves a different game and a new contestant. The contestant is pitted against the audience in a race to win the prize at stake. The contestant must accomplish his/her goal associated with the game they are playing before anyone in the audience calls "BINGO". To accomplish their game goal the contestant must first make a guess as to what the ball will be; red/black, odd/even or higher/lower. Once the contestant has made his guess a random bingo ball numbered from B-1 through O-75 will be dispensed from the giant bingo sphere. If the contestant's guess was correct the ball is credited towards their game goal if applicable, if the contestant guesses incorrectly he does not get to use the ball, the audience becomes one step closer to a bingo and, if there are no bingos, the contestant continues play. The contestant does not automatically win once he/she reaches their game goal. Sunil, the bingo referee, must first confirm that there are no bingos. If an audience member has a bingo the contestant does not win, anything. This can be quite upsetting sometimes, when they get very close to winning. Ed Sanders Is the host, Sunil Narkar ("Bingo Commissioner Sunil") serves as co-host and Yesenia Adame is the model ball handler. The series is executive-produced and created by Andrew Glassman for Glassman Media and ABC delivers the game show to the us. |
